As a result of rapid growth and the award of new contracts, we are seeking to take on a proactive and hands-on Crane Technician to join our team.
The Offshore Crane Technician will be responsible for performing installations, inspections, maintenance, repairs, modifications, and testing/commissioning of cranes located in Client facilities or Company facilities. Whilst conducting this work the technician will adhere to the procedures and guidelines put in place by the Company, the Client, the crane manufacturer & industry best practices.
This role is full-time and permanent, will require you to work remotely offshore, and will suit applicants with flexibility with working patterns and hours.

Skills, qualifications, and experience
To be a successful candidate for this position ideally you will have:
- Trade qualified mechanical (preferred)
- MSIC (mandatory)
- OPITO TBOSIET (mandatory)
- Rigger high-risk license (preferred)
- Experience maintaining overhead and pedestal cranes (mobile & tower crane prior experience also considered)
- Experience with Hydraulics, Diesel Engines, Gearboxes & Rope Systems
- Ability to read and execute work packs.
- Ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot mechanical and hydraulic systems.
- Building meaningful relationships with clients’ personnel
