AWE is currently recruiting for an Category Administrator to join our growing Supply Chain team.
As Category Administrator, you will assist category specialists and category managers in general administration tasks. You will also assist with commercial and contract performance support to the business to allow management of project and commercial risk.
Package: from £33,350 to £40,000 (depending on your suitability and level of experience)
Location: Reading / Basingstoke area

Key Accountabilities:
Assist and support from a administration point of view, the implementation of a Category Strategy
Support the execution of strategic sourcing activities in line with approved category strategy and preferred suppliers list
Provide contract administration to the relevant team assisting with commercial assurance to deliver commercial value
Support the monitoring of supplier performance, ensuring that suppliers meet contractual obligations using the Supplier Performance Card or specific contractual KPI and SLA and secure commercial compensation for supplier contractual non-compliance
Assist with external management review meetings
To be successful in this role you should have the following skills and experience:
Good standard of general education or equivalent experience
Clear and confident communicator
Accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to develop constructive relationships
Planning and prioritising
Candidates must be willing and able to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role.
