Office Manager

Job Description

Office Management Responsibilities

• Light receptionist duties
• Greet visitors
• Provide general assistance for the duration of the visit
• Sign for packages, check mail, and create necessary shipments
• Office upkeep – keep clean, manage cleaners, manage maintenance requests, organize files, supply closets and keep lab organized
• Vendor coordination, printing and shipping, and conference room appearance/functionality
• Facilitate ordering of office supplies
• General office needs (printers, etc)
• Groceries for the kitchen (stocks fridge)
• Assist with and planning all events including hosting suppliers, distributors and other guests, off-sites, team meetings
• Light calendar management
• Manage travel profiles with all personal travel information and preferences
• Handle sensitive/confidential information requiring a high level of discretion
• Act as an extra pair of eyes and ears to the CEO, execs and company - always operates with a strict level of confidentiality and discretion; raise opportunities for improvement or concerns to the CEO / key stakeholders when appropriate
• Assist execs with scheduling, travel, etc - anticipate scheduling conflicts and prioritize meetings
• A positive attitude and an ability to juggle multiple demands simultaneously are a must!
• Develop a good working relationships team members in all levels of staff

Office Management Requirements:

• 3+ years' experience as an Office Manager or similar role
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Attention to detail and problem solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• High level of proficiency with Microsoft office, especially Excel
• Demonstrates initiative, flexibility, teamwork, and anticipates and resolves problems
• Ability to work independently and in a high energy, team-oriented atmosphere

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.83 - $37.49 per hour
