ABOUT THE ROLE
Located in our Booking Centre in the CBD you are the first touch point for our patients. If you enjoy working in a lively inbound call centre environment, then this is your perfect role. You will use your superstar customer service experience to provide the best standard of service to our patients dealing with appointment enquiries and scheduling. Ideally you have experience working in the medical or radiology industry, however we want to hear from you if have a genuine interest in a career in the medical/health industry.

Key Responsibilities
ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITES
As the Booking Agent you will:
Take inbound calls and determining the service required
Deliver prompt and effective responses to patient bookings and enquiries
Notify patients of requirements prior to their visit
Liaise with technical and support staff regarding booked services
Quote accurate fees for service and Medicare rebate amount
Booking the service into the appointment diary at the relevant site
ABOUT YOU
Our Booking Agents are a diverse group with a wide range of experience and backgrounds. To excel in this role, you will have:
Excellent communication and telephone skills – you must be articulate, able to listen and have empathy
Previous customer service or call centre with the ability to deal with high volume of calls
Computer literate with the ability to learn our systems
Have a proactive approach to learning and development
Health care / medical reception experience will be highly regarded
RIS/PACs systems experience will also be highly regarded
