What you'll be doing: Reporting to the Project Manager, the Site Supervisor will be responsible for working with and Supervising 2 Operatives whilst delivering works on our Anglian, Southern and Thames Water company contracts to a high standard and in a timely manner. Travel and overnighters will be part of the job. You will: • Ensure the preparation of sites. • Ensure the storage, handling, use and disposal of materials are carried out in the correct manner • Supervise and assist with basic timber shuttering, drainage and kerb laying, material mixing and application • Ensure heavy machinery is operated in conjunction with CPCS training e.g. diggers/dumpers/compressors • Ensure a safe and tidy working environment is maintained including the wearing full PPE, at all times • Ensure the Company Safety Handbook, and all other safety instructions are followed • Ensure all training and reasonable instructions given are followed Who we’re looking for:
While attitude is more important to us than qualifications, you will ideally have a CSCS card, SSSTS and Driving Licence. You may be either a seasoned construction professional, or have experience of labouring, groundworks or civils projects and looking to progress to the next stages of your career. If you have the right aptitude and attitude, we can do the rest. There are also opportunities to progress to Project Manager level and to obtain further training and qualifications.
