Job description for Finance Assistant:
A hospitality company requires an experienced finance assistant to support our business. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will have previously worked within a small to medium finance function with responsibility for some or all of the range of outlined responsibilities.
The role is primarily remote working, however there may be the need to come into the club from time to time.
The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, a good communicator and have prior knowledge of
Sage 50. With this being a remote role, good wifi at home is also essential. Fluent English (written and spoken) as you will sometimes need to communicate with suppliers by phone and email.
Responsibilities include, but are not necessarily limited to:
- Managing Accounts inbox for invoices and supplier queries
- Posting supplier invoices on Sage 50.
- Resolving queries with suppliers.
- Daily bank reconciliations
- Entering and processing expense payments (low volume).
- Monitoring credit card spend, reconciling and processing in the system.
- Raising payment runs in the banking system (once a month plus ad hoc requests).
Knowledge & Experience:
- Sage 50 Accounts: prior knowledge important.
- Accurate data entry and attention to detail
- Highly numerate with an excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written.
- Bookkeeping
- Excel
Job type & hours: Part Time, primarily remote working with the occasional need to come into the club (SW1W).
Salary: £17,750 per annum for 24 hours per week.
Benefits: 16.8 days holiday a year, inclusive of bank holidays, if on the payroll. Flexible schedule.
Work from home. Training for the role. We will supply laptop and printer.
