Weston Park is a residential and nursing home located on the outskirts of Macclesfield Town situated in a quiet residential area. The home is accessible via a main bus route and easily accessible from the Leek and Congleton Roads.
Weston Park provides a variety of care for 72 residents over two floors. The ground floor service provides general nursing care and the first floor service provides care for residents living with dementia. The home requires Care Assistants to join our existing team in providing 24 hour care.

Role of a Care Assistant:
To support the delivery of care for residents at the home; ensuring that all care needs are met in a timely manner with due regard to privacy, dignity, respect and the rights of each resident in the home.
Responsibilities of a Care Assistant:
To provide personal care and support to residents using a person centered approach under the direction of senior staff within the home. The role includes getting to know each resident and understanding their individual needs.
Promoting independence is a key aspect of this role as it helps to maintain residents' skills and abilities in all aspects of daily living. As a care assistant, you will assist residents to:
- get up in the morning and retire to bed at night.
- wash, bath and shower.
- dress and undress.
- look after their skin, teeth, hair and nails.
- manage their continence and personal hygiene needs.
- meet their nutritional needs and cultural requirements.
- maintain their safety, and to lead a healthy life in a pleasant environment.
- maintain contact with their family and friends.
- access their local community.
In addition, you will be required to:
- ensure the facility and all furnishings are clean and tidy at all times.
- carry out cleaning duties in accordance with the cleaning schedule.
- use manual handling equipment safely and use correct techniques.
- maintain good communication and develop effective working relationships with residents, their family and friends, professional visitors and colleagues.

- Care Home Assistant Practitioner - £14.00 p/h
- NVQ L4 Health and Social Care Adults - £12.30 p/h
- NVQ L3 Health and Social Care Adults - £11.00 p/h
- NVQ L2 Health and Social Care Adults - £10.75 p/h
- No NVQ - £10.50
- On the job paid training and development is provided.
