Job Description
Nortech is a small business (30 people) based in Evesham. We supply high tech solutions to the UK power industry. This is an important role within the organisation, we are looking for a well organised individual with excellent attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have experience of running day-to-day bookkeeping and accounts independently.
Accounts / Bookkeeping Responsibilities
- Sales invoicing.
- Sales ledger management, resolving customer invoice queries.
- Credit control.
- Raise credit notes when requested by management.
- Processing purchasing invoices for payment.
- Purchase ledger management, resolving invoice and delivery queries.
- Set-up and manage customer and supplier accounts.
- Processing staff expense claims.
- Preparation of all outbound BACS payments on the banking system.
- Preparation of pension and payroll payments.
- Bank reconciliation.
- Preparation & submission of EC sales report.
Qualifications and Skills
- A relevant qualification, ideally AAT Level 2 or Level 3.
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience.
- Experience using QuickBooks Online version (preferred).
- Excellent IT skills.
- Ability to prioritise and meet strict timescales.
- Ability to communicate well at all levels with colleagues, customers and suppliers.
- Conscientious, excellent accuracy skills and attention to detail.
- Great numeracy and literacy skills.
