Purpose of the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced friendly Receptionist to join our team at Grantley Hall. You’ll be the face of Grantley Hall, offering a warm and authentic Yorkshire welcome to all our guests. As a Receptionist you’ll consistently be engaging with hotel guests and communicating internally with relevant departments and externally to ensure that each and every guest requests are dealt with efficiently and professionally.

Maintain good working relationships with colleagues and all other departments

Attend training courses and meetings as required

Point of contact for guests upon arrival, throughout their stay and upon departure

Reservation audits with the upmost attention to detail

Be flexible and extend job duties to carry out any reasonable tasks as requested

Liaise with Housekeeping efficiently regarding bedroom statuses
About You
-
Proven track record within a Front Office / Reception in a 4* or 5* luxury property

Experience in understanding, delivering and exceeding guest expectations

Fluent in written and verbal English

Ensure that the agreed standard of personal presentation is adhered to at all times

Great attitude and a willingness to be flexible in the fast paced nature of the business

Ability to work under pressure and adapt according to business needs

Knowledge of Opera PMS is beneficial, however training is provided
