Weekend Offender Assistant Store Manager
The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for ensuring their staff give great customer service as well as monitoring the financial performance of the store, dealing with customer queries and complaints, overseeing pricing, stock control and merchandising, maximising profitability and setting/meeting sales targets, including motivating staff to do so and working well with Store Manager.
Duties
Have a professional attitude at all times, representative of the Weekend Offender values
Lead by example
Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service
Helping customers with difficulties and complaints
Fulfilling sales obligations
Communicating with customers, staff, the company, senior employees, employees at other stores, etc. in person, over the phone, and by email
Resolving conflicts between staff members as well as between staff and customers
Complying with regulations on store & McArthur Glen outlet operations
Monitoring staff behaviour, attitude, and presentation to make sure they are a positive reflection of the Weekend Offender values
Sharing product knowledge with customers and with store's team members
Delegating tasks to staff such as cleaning, stock rotation, customer support, or working the cash register
Inspiring the team to do their best by being a role model and an authoritative example of their possible future with the company
Keeping the store COVID safe
Making sure the Healthand safety of staff and customers is a high priority
Making sure takings balance at the end of the week and reporting these to head office along with stock replenishment
Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
Report on buying trends, customer needs, profits etc
Propose innovative ideas to increase takings
Raise the profile of the store through social media alongside the brand’s social team
Running the store in absence of Store Manager
