Position Title: General Operative
Location: Paneltex, Hull Somerden Road
Hours of work: 40 hours per week - Monday-Thursday 0800-1700 / Friday 0800-1430
Salary: £10.25 per hour
Other Benefits: Equivalent of 32 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays), Contributory pension scheme & Life Assurance cover.
Job Overview
We are looking for Production Operatives to work across various areas of the business including CNC, Panel Shop, Moulding, Kitting, Finishing and Sub Assembly.
If you have experience in the following then we would like to hear from you:
- Setting up of manufacturing equipment
- Using CNC routers and setting up CNC tooling
- Performing periodic checks on equipment (TPM)
- Background in GRP products
- Fitting of various components
- Constructing / building production moulds using materials such as wood, fibreglass resins, etc.
- Stocktaking and stock control
- Following instructions to complete assembly tasks
- Ability to read and understand detailed engineering drawings
