Patcham High School, Brighton
We require an enthusiastic, energetic, committed and skilled Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead to work within our school. The postholder will provide administration assistance to our Designated Safeguarding Lead, providing support for students with particular needs with regards to child protection, and those facing behavioural, social & emotional barriers to learning.
Candidates should have strong organisational, interpersonal and ICT skills and as well as providing valuable admin and pastoral support to the Safeguarding Lead, and will be in regular contact with parents/carers and other stakeholders/outside agencies.
The hours of work are term time only, 37 hours per week, 7.45am-3.45pm Monday to Thursday and 7.45am-3.15pm Friday. The salary for this post is LGA Scale 6 currently £27,852-£29,439 per annum, full-time equivalent. The actual pro rata starting salary is £25,254-£26,693 per annum (paid for 47.15 weeks per year).
