What you’ll be doing
You will provide administrative and editorial support to two senior editorial colleagues in the acquisition and production of new titles, and assist with all aspects of administration, co-ordination and driving of the publishing programme in all media.
The position offers the opportunity to work on fiction titles in a wide range of genres (from Women’s Fiction and Reading Group Fiction to SFF and YA/Crossover Fiction) and to engage in many aspects of the publishing process.
Who we are looking for
You will be a highly organised, passionate reader of fiction and have a meticulous eye for detail. You will have good writing skills with the ability to prioritise tasks swiftly and be a clear communicator. You will be a team player with an enthusiastic and can-do attitude, who is excited and motivated to join a busy and fast-paced team.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience as an editorial assistant or assistant editor, or other relevant experience.
