We are currently recruiting for a Change Manager to support both client internal stakeholders and operational leads by mitigating people and client risks.
As the Change Manager you will work with our key internal stakeholders (P&L’s owners) to gain knowledge on the scope of planned changes to include,timeframes, and impacts and create a scope document.
Key Responsibilities
- Create a project trackers using available data (Source & T&A) to build a cost of change at both site and front-line placemaker level to include any compensation or redundancy payments due and statutory notice.
- Outline any risks to the business that the change may create, including reductions in meeting any clients SLA’s (missed cleans) and provide solutions to mitigate.
- Produce a business case to include cost of change, deliverables and gain senior sign off, including P&C.
- Work closely with the Regional and Sector Managers whilst delivering the change and keep them informed on progress including seeking additional information on the site or front-line employee's background, as necessary.
- Consult on an individual basis with all front-line employees impacted, ensuring well documented (minutes) and clear audit trails of conversations and outputs - letters produced and posted using KAN Admin Centre.
- Make changes to budgets and systems in a timely manner to reflect the changes including processing compensation and redundancy payments when due.
- Work closely with the KAN P&C team and escalate people issues and work together to resolve.
- Ensure you internal stakeholders are aware of project successes and outline any risk and agree mitigations.
- Take ownership of project plans and trackers and be able to advise on progress at site, and at individual employee level throughout the change processes.
Professional and personal competencies/qualifications
- Prior experience in delivering large scale people changes including comfortable and experienced in undertaking 121 consultations with front line colleagues, including making subsequent system changes e.g T&A or similar
- Ability to manage client expectations and deliver customer-focused solutions.
- Able to build relationships in a professional manner with internal stakeholders.
- 5 years minimum experience in comparable change roles, ideally in an operational environment
- Must be flexible, adaptable and proactive
- Ability to effectively manage priorities and projects timescale and to balance business needs with employee rights and welfare.
- knowledge of statutory employment benefits and high-level employee rights would be an advantage
- Liaise with central payroll and manage pay queries
