We are currently recruiting for Financial Systems Administrator. The role is within the IT Strategy & Planning team of TGPL UK Marketing*. The Financial Systems Administrator is the main representative regarding financial systems (specifically SUN Accounts and its associated modules B4B, iPOS and Expenses system…):
- He/she manages, co-ordinates or advises on projects or changes that involve set-up, development or upgrade of SUN Accounts system for TGPL UK Marketing
- He/she is in charge of the functional administration of SUN Accounts in cooperation with IT & Finance teams and provides support and training to end users (c. 20 users for SUN and c. 350 users for the Expense module of SUN)
(*) Key figures 2020 (Budget): Turn-over of c. 3.5 billion US$; Gross margin of c. 125 million US$; Net Operating Income of c. 35 million US$; Large of volume of transactions incl. supplier invoices and payments with strict deadlines

About the role
This role is based in Redhill. It sits within IT Strategy & Planning team providing support and expertise regarding financial systems, specially SUN Accounts.
Accountabilities
To ensure that SUN Accounts is available and in line with business requirements so that the Finance team can operate its day-to-day activities (accounting, reporting, treasury, etc.). To provide high-quality support to users.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
A - Project activities:
- Be the main representative regarding the set-up, development or upgrade of Sun Accounts systems*
- Be the SME for any SUN systems project as required from a Business perspective, in cooperation with IT teams, relevant Group teams and external service providers:
- Support project activities: Requirements gathering and functional specifications, End User Training, User Acceptance Testing and Data Migration Testing (incl. master data, opening balances, etc.), Go Live strategy/Cut over planning
- Support Change Management and Communication activities
B - Continuous improvement, change management and on-going support activities:
- Working in conjunction with the Finance Department & IT Infrastructure team proactively contribute to the continuous improvement of core financial systems, by defining the roadmap regarding the maintenance and evolution of these systems, proactively proposing ideas, investigating/reviewing solutions and launching/coordinating required actions in order to automate, digitise and improve financial processes
- Advise users on IT aspects of new business requirements and propose adequate system evolutions / changes
- Support the business analysis and requirements specifications for functional changes.
- Coordinate / Supervise user acceptance tests and oversee training of users as required
- Provide continuous support to users in their day-to-day operations. Provide assessment and solutions to day-to-day issues and take responsibility for bug submissions and follow-up until they are corrected
- Manage user access rights and functional administration in coordination with relevant IT teams
- Ensure that required documentation is up to date and accurate
- Ensure continuous coordination with relevant IT teams, Group teams and external service providers
- Ensure that robust Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery processes are in place and regularly tested
- Provide reporting, analytics and insight into department spend, supporting the reconciliation of IT and Finance reporting.
- Ensure compliance with Internal Control requirements under the Total Group SOX framework and other applicable framework.
C - Comply with relevant HSE rules and ensure all relevant risks are appropriately mitigated. Provide feedback on risks or issues that may exist within the team
Requirements and Skills:
- Qualified or part qualified accounting degrees (e.g. ACCA, CIMA or similar) with strong knowledge of financial processes
- Advanced IT application and strong data management skills (Excel incl. VBS, Word and various databases)
- Strong knowledge of SUN systems
- Strong project management skills and the related techniques
- This position requires autonomy, discipline, to be resourceful and well organised. Be proactive, and have good ability to convince, IT skills and interest essential. Ability to work under pressure in a demanding environment
