- Fixed Term/Secondment Opportunity for 1 Year (secondment cover)
- Secondment Opportunity – Existing permanent employees must first discuss this opportunity with their substantive line manager and complete the secondment request form prior to interview. The secondment request form and the associated secondment policy can be found on the HR/Recruitment intranet pages and must be completed and signed by the substantive line manager. The Candidate should then take it with them to interview as confirmation that an agreement has been granted.
We currently have a fixed term/secondment opportunity available for an HR professional to work within the Medical Workforce Team; to support the provision of advice and guidance to managers and staff across a wide range of human resources functions relating to the Medical and Dental Workforce within NHS Forth Valley.
This newly designed role will also involve supporting the Medical Workforce Team with the NHS Scotland New Deal monitoring process for Doctors in Training.
Applicants will have well developed interpersonal communication and influencing skills, as well as the ability to prioritise workload effectively. The ability to manage complex HR situations is essential. Previous experience of working in an advisory role, dealing with recruitment and medical workforce contractual issues would be preferred.
You should be educated to degree level and/or equivalent level of experience in an advisory role, preferably within the NHS or a similar large organisational setting. Ideally you should be in possession of or working towards CIPD membership.
