Accounts Assistant
Large Format Printing Industry
Basildon, Essex
Salary up to £28k DOE +Overtime opportunities & Annual Bonus
Working Hours: Mon-Fri 8.30m-5.30pm
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Using Sage Accounting and Sage Payroll software day to day
- Using NEST pension software.
- Day to day methodical organisation and filing of Accounting & Payroll paperwork
- Check and marry delivery notes and invoices to Purchase order paperwork
- Entering purchase invoices onto Sage Accounting and subsequently paying the invoices
- Analysis spreadsheets of some suppliers
- Credit control chasing in overdue payments
- Assisting Admin department with various day to day tasks when needed to cover holiday
Candidate Experience
- Experience within printing industry of benefit but not essential
- Use of Sage Accounting and Payroll software – inc knowledge of NEST pension software.
- Good understanding of organisational filing techniques
- Fluent use of Word and Excel spreadsheets inc basic formatting and formulas
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Commutable distance to Basildon
