The London office of WATG is hiring Architects.
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Architect position at WATG is responsible for assisting the Senior Leader and design team in designing medium to large-size hospitality projects. The Architect position assists in the development of the project design, production of presentation drawings, sketches and assists in solving design complexities. This individual must have strong design skills and be able to demonstrate creativity and knowledge of architectural project phases.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Assists with development and implementation of project design concepts
- Produces presentation drawings, models, sketches and renderings
- Supports follow-through of initial design through completion of construction
- Creates, develops and implements project design concepts
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- 4-7+ years experience in designing mid-size to large scale commercial architectural projects including resort hotels and urban mixed-use
- Hospitality experience desired
- Part II or III qualified (or equivalent)
- Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp a must, Rhino also highly desirable
- Proficiency with the Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) desired
- Design talent focus for concept/schematic stages
- Excellent presentation skills are required
- The ability to travel also desirable
