Vacancies have arisen for Full Time Support Workers at Hollybank Supported Accommodation in Salford.
Hollybank provides supported accommodation services on a 24 hour basis, supporting individuals diagnosed with mental health conditions who are working towards achieving greater levels of independence. Hollybank work within the ethos of recovery and views hope, self-responsibility and empowerment as central to this process.
The postholder will be required to work flexibly between Hollybank, Victoria Crescent and also provide support for individuals, for up to 6 months, in the community across Salford.
Hollybank operates a 24 hour staffing rota which will involve working a shift pattern that will require lone-working for some shifts.
Applicants must be able to:
- Demonstrate a keen interest in mental health and be able to demonstrate awareness of mental health related issues.
- Develop positive therapeutic relationships with service users and carers
- Work effectively in a team ensuring that high standards of care are delivered.
- Identify and utilise appropriate resources within the community to meet a service user’s needs and encourage social inclusion, personalisation and recovery
- Have the ability to use initiative and to make appropriate decisions.
