Position Summary
As European Procurement Support Specialist you’ll be responsible for understanding, communicating and helping to implement the Co-Manufacturing sourcing strategies including new or changing materials, S2P channel management and of new suppliers. The Procurement Support Specialist gathers data and business requirements to transmit them to the Contract Manufacturing Manager for setting actions/strategies accordingly. You’ll work to liaise with stakeholders for assigned scope with various functions and Co-Manufacturing / Co-Filling sites.
A day in the life…
Responsibilities will include:
- Proactively understand the business needs and requirements within the assigned scope for contract manufacturing requirements
- Resolve invoice queries, carrying out as directed any data retrieval, analysis and representation required, mapping how ordering (S2P) work within the locations serviced, and identify improvements to be targeted
- Interface with contract manufacturers as required to help with any supplier development, or supplier switch out activities as directed by Contract Manufacturing Manager
- Provide the Contract Manufacturing Manager with information and requirements gathered through the daily business and report to him/her on a regular basis (contract coverage reports)
- Manage SAP Contract requests for co-manufacturing and co-filling
- Support the Contract Manufacturing Manager on compliance to the co- manufacturing standard, SAP Make or Buy process / responsible sourcing/ manufacturing dossiers & frame agreements.
- Be the procurement lead on some I2L and business projects.
- Develop into managing a category / negotiation of contracts
