The Prologis Valuations Analyst role is an avenue for recent graduates - and young professionals with one to two years of related work experience - to build the foundation for a successful career in commercial real estate. Our valuations analyst gets exposure to broad-based analytical skills, including asset underwriting and valuations methodologies, analysis of operating environments and global capital markets as well as potentially advanced analytics projects.
What's needed in order to do that:
- Work within our Valuations department to develop both high-level and asset-level perspectives on real estate capital flows

Coordinate the preparation of Valuations investor presentations and insights

Communicate asset-level and market-level drivers of value change to Valuations leadership

Understand location, product, and supply and demand within assigned markets. Present notable news on market trends to team leadership.

- Bachelor's degree preferred and 1-2 years of full time or internship experience in a related role.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Must have persuasive presentation and negotiation skills.

Proven track record in team competitiveness and strong problem-solving skills required.

Demonstrated leadership skills with an ability to motivate peers.

Strong understanding of financial concepts and analysis required.

Highly attentive to detail

Basic knowledge of real estate market demand/supply, vacancy, absorption, micro/macro issues related to property markets and valuations methods (e.g., income, market, discounted cash flow) preferred.

Strong time management skills, including an ability to handle a large volume of projects and work independently preferred.

Advanced proficiency Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required. Experience with data visualization software, such as Tableau or Sigma, a plus.

Background in Argus, and/or analytical software programs (e.g., Python, R) pluses, but not required.

Hiring Salary Range of $81,000.00 - $100,000.00. Salary and whole compensation package (including bonus target) to be determined by the candidate's location, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
