International Banking Relationship Manager

As a Barclays International Banking Relationship Manager, you will be proactively engaging with International clients, supporting them with their International Banking needs. Your focus for this role is on deepening relationships through providing access to our investment and credit specialists to help clients achieve their short, medium and long-term goals. You will also work closely with both colleagues across the group and the Relationship Directors to ensure that clients experience an exceptional service.

What will you be doing?
• Managing client relationships, determining, and managing solutions to meet a wide range of client needs, including banking, investments, and foreign exchange
- Utilizing a robust contact strategy and appropriate tools to enable proactive, relevant and regular client contact
- Demonstrating market knowledge, client’s operational environment, relevant cross-border policies/restrictions
- Determining opportunities, managing your own business plan and continuously reevaluating how to achieve your business goals
- Taking proactive measures in acquiring new clients through referrals from existing clients and the wider business
- Extending your knowledge and comprehension of the International proposition and the financial marketplace, sharing the best of Barclays with customers continuously
- Collaborating with specialist colleagues to deliver the appropriate access to Advice & Guidance where it could help achieve good customer outcomes
- Being proactive in educating and facilitating customers through the flexibility of digital service to ensure they have confidence in using their channels of choice
What we’re looking for:
• Previous experience within financial services, including working with high-net-worth clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to deliver quality results in a challenging environment
- Knowledge of the risk standards expected by the UK Financial Conduct Authority
Skills that will help you in the role:
• Proficiency in other languages
- Detailed and comprehensive understanding of the competitor environment and associated product offering
- Knowledge of the International proposition and its link into Wealth, Premier UK and clients’ local banking arrangements
