Job Description
To provide a comprehensive business and administrative support function to the Change Hub, including support to specific projects as required by the Head of the Change Hub and Senior Project Managers.
- To provide support to the Head of the Change Hub in the co-ordination of the programme management of the Cross Cutting Themes, including responsibility for the co-ordination of key pieces of work.
- To update project trackers and support their ongoing development in order as directed by the Head of the Change Hub.
- To ensure that the day-to-day operational activities run smoothly for the Change Hub Team.
- To act as the first point of contact for enquiries from all internal and external stakeholders, including members of the public.
- To liaise with external organisations such as the Third Sector, Local Authorities as required.
- To maintain a project library, database and resources.
- To assist in project planning and training as required supporting the function of the Change Hub.
- To carry out any other duties as required consummate with banding of the role
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
The post holder will :
Work unsupervised on a daily basis, prioritising own workload, using initiative as to what is routine and what is urgent.
Participate in yearly appraisals with supervisor/line manager.
Be able to work proactively and autonomously, planning and co-ordinating own workload to meet project demands.
Provide administrative support to the Change Hub for the management of specific projects, and will resolve day-to-day problems independently.
Provide and receive complex information relevant to the development of Key Lines of Enquiry and short projects for the Change Hub.
Maintain the Change Hub intranet webpage & seek opportunities to improve communication and maximise efficiency.
Act as the first point of contact within the Change Hub for any queries or problems related to the projects and ensure resolution.
