School of Psychological, Social and Behavioural Sciences
The Coventry & Warwick Clinical Psychology Doctorate is an established and growing subject area which sits within the School of Psychological, Social and Behavioural Sciences, Coventry University, and the Department of Psychology, University of Warwick. The Doctorate programme is commissioned by Health Education England and currently has an annual intake of 20 trainees.
Applications are invited from candidates who can demonstrate a commitment to clinical psychology training, to join our Doctoral Programme in Clinical Psychology team. The successful applicant will be responsible for elements of research methods teaching and thesis research supervision, ensuring a high-quality experience for trainees on the programme. In addition, the post holder will contribute to other aspects of the day to day running of the programme, including selection, teaching, marking and supporting trainees in their professional development through the appraisal tutor system. The role will also involve liaison with NHS and Expert by Experience colleagues as well as other internal and external stakeholders.
