An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Cambridge Reproduction (CR) and the Centre for Trophoblast Research (CTR) as a part-time Events and Communications Administrator/PA (80% FTE). This role will be split equally between CR and the CTR and will report to the Cambridge Reproduction Coordinator and CTR Executive Manager.
This role is responsible for providing administrative, communications and events support for the day-to-day aspects of running of CR and the CTR. There is significant overlap in the events and communications operations of both initiatives, and the postholder will increase efficiency in shared resources and networking between the two.
You will be responsible for promoting networking and dissemination of relevant opportunities across both networks through development and maintenance of website resources, newsletter and social media communications, and promotional materials. You will support with organising a variety of events for both initiatives, including summer schools, annual meetings, away days, conferences and seminar series.
The ideal candidate will have experience in office administration and organising a variety of event styles and will be confident in IT skills and willing to learn new software. If you are organised, self-motivated, skilled in communicating across platforms and audiences and like to have a diverse range of work, then this could be the role for you.
