About the role
The position will manufacture finished products to meet production schedules in accordance with specified formulations/process instructions. The position will also complete final product testing in line with agreed quality assurance standards, whilst maintaining high standards of responsible care, quality and cost effectiveness.
Key responsibilities
Maintain a high standard of responsible care and housekeeping, consistent with all company and legislative requirements (e.g., COSHH, HSE, IPPC).
Follow procedures as specified in the Standard Operating Procedure manuals (SOP).
Manufacture finished products to meet production schedules.
Complete all specified in-process and final product testing in line with agreed quality assurance standards.
Ensure data is promptly and accurately recorded and followed up in a timely manner where necessary.
Work with other shifts and departments to meet production schedules.
Assist the team leader in the training of new employees.
About you
The successful candidate will ideally have experience of working within a plant or operational environment. Experienced in working to tight deadlines whilst ensuring high standards and quality of work are achieved. Happy to work on own initiative and efficiently as part of a team.
Shift Pattern
The shift pattern for this position will be 6:00am – 2:00pm, 2:00pm – 10:00pm and 10:00pm – 6:00am
Salary & benefits: The salary for the position will be £21,255.00 + Shift Allowance of £5,683.58. In addition to your salary, you will also be included into our company bonus scheme (Group Staff Bonus & Profit Performance Bonus). Pension: We offer a generous contribution to your pension and dependant on your monthly commitment, we will contribute up to a maximum of 2x your contribution up to a maximum of 10%.

Holiday: Your annual leave will be 25 days + Bank Holidays. There is also the opportunity to purchase an additional 5 day’s holiday in case you need a couple of extra days.
