How would joining a research & development team who are developing the next-generation of Biocrucible products sound?
This is an exciting time to join us as we develop proprietary molecular detection technologies deploying ultra-rapid isothermal nucleic acid amplification that enables near-patient and at-home testing for infectious disease or genetic indications.
You’ll sit within a small focused team of 5 in our labs at Innovation Park. This means there are plenty of highly experienced people nearby that you can learn from.
Role and responsibilities
- Development and optimisation of in vitro diagnostic assays using isothermal nucleic acid amplification
- Develop and optimise lateral flow assays for molecular and antigen-based diagnostics for varying target organisms
- Investigate novel methods for reagent deposition/drying into matrices for lateral flow/laminate-based diagnostic devices
- Complete documentation and records to fulfil QMS requirements
Preferred experience
- Experience in development and manufacture of lateral flow-based diagnostics (molecular or antigen-based)
- Experience in performing in vitro assays
- QMS experience e.g. ISO13485 or similar
- MSc
