The PCN Accountant will have a key role to play in the smooth running of North Lewisham PCN, providing excellent at-scale care for over 80,000 patients in one of the most interesting, diverse areas of London.
Location: based at Waldron Health Centre, London SE14 but working with practices and services across North Lewisham.
Hours: Part time (1 or 2 days per week)
Salary: £25– £40 per hour depending on experience
The ideal candidate will:
- Be a part, or fully qualified accountant with a minimum of two years experience managing an accounting team
- Have up to date knowledge of current UK financial regulations
- Exhibit an advanced level of computer literacy with a strong understanding of Excel
- Be a team player with good inter personal and communication skills
- Be able to work to tight deadlines
North Lewisham PCN covers about 80,000 patients across 9 GP surgeries in North Lewisham - Amersham Vale Training Practice, Clifton Rise Family Practice, Deptford Medical Centre, Deptford Surgery, Grove Medical Centre, Kingfisher Medical Centre, New Cross Health Centre, Queens Road Partnership and Vesta Road Surgery. We also work with a range of local providers, including secondary care, community services, social care and the voluntary sector, to offer more personalised, coordinated health and social care to our local populations.
Last year, we were one of the fastest COVID-19 vaccinators in London, delivering exceptional service in a challenging area. This year, we are looking to build a foundation for the PCN and deliver on the Network DES requirements including the new GP out-of-hours (Enhanced Access) service.
