If so, we have an opportunity for a Merchandising Admin Assistant to join our Merchandising team here at The Regatta Group.
The Impact you will have in this role is:
Weekly and monthly reports of sales and stock figures are created and distributed, management decisions and forward planning are supported.
Price changes and promotions are updated and inputted onto the system and communicated to Retail
Sales data is collated and uploaded onto the system in a timely manner
Seasonal and in-season orders are raised on the system
Supply chain issues are identified alongside the Assistant Merchandisers and assisted with, with problems or delays dealt with accordingly
Stock allocations are keyed onto the system with appropriate quantities of stock in stores in line with the seasonal merchandising strategy with allocation adjustments authorized (with recommendations made) in line with the theme calendar including events and seasonal trends
Minimum credible display stock levels are maintained in line with the MDQ’s and store grading. Stores turned on appropriate cover with stock in the right place for sales – with promotions and incentives included.
New store stock levels are proactively monitored, and recommendations formulated with colleagues (Retail and Merchandising) for adjustments and reallocations
All stock movements are managed and processed on the system following Merchandiser’s instructions
Stock queries from all areas are responded to
Ad-hoc store/stock reporting is conducted as required

As our future Merchandising Admin Assistant you will have:
5 GCSE’s A* - C / 9 – 4 or equivalent including Maths and English
Interest in Retail industry and willing to expand knowledge in this area
Detail oriented, recognising misses and oversights
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
Excellent written, verbal and organisational skills
Ability to follow up and follow-thru
Team oriented attitude
Quick learner
Proactive desire to learn
Competent user of Microsoft Excel
Computer literate
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook
