Exciting opportunities have become available to join our Ticket Office team at Middlesbrough Football Club, based at the Riverside Stadium. We’re looking to recruit a number of highly motivated individuals to play a key role in providing a first-class customer service to our supporters.
Vacancies are available on a casual basis (although you must be available to work core hours 9-5 during weekdays, as required). This role will include all first team home matches, including evening games, and some non-match days when required.
The main responsibilities of this role include:
· Sales of products including season cards, home and away match tickets and coach travel
· Communicating with customers via email, telephone and face to face
· Administrative duties and after sales service
· Cash reconciliation, which includes banking and credit card administration
· Handling any customer queries or complaints, for example, lost and stolen tickets
· Dealing with various payment options
· Liaising with other football clubs and suppliers
Our ideal candidates will have some experience of working in a sales or administrative role and will have the confidence and resilience to be able to deal with a variety of customers and sometimes difficult situations.
This can be a highly pressured and fast-paced environment and candidates must have the ability to work under such pressure whilst remaining calm, friendly and professional.
Our ideal candidates must:
· Be experienced in working in a customer-facing, sales or administration role
· Hold a minimum of Maths and English at grade C or equivalent
· Have experience of handling cash and processing credit card payments
· Be IT competent and familiar with Microsoft Word & Excel
· Possess good attention to detail and display high levels of accuracy
· Be able to work individually or as part of a team, supporting colleagues to achieve both personal and collective goals together
· Have a good understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion
· Be prepared to be flexible to the needs of the business since we often have to respond to changes at short notice and be available to cover peak periods and ticketing campaigns
· Be eligible to work in the UK
