About us:
Ravensdale Infant and Nursery School is a larger than average infant and nursery school and the only one of its kind in the local area. We are a Local Authority School and work closely as a positive and supportive staff team alongside our parents and community. An important element of our school is to use the outdoor environment at all opportunities to enhance and enrich our curriculum, this is taught through our Go Wild curriculum.
We also believe that all children should become fluent, confident and enthusiastic readers whilst at our school. These two ‘golden threads’ of reading and outdoor learning are woven through our planning and practice at every opportunity.
We have an exciting and forward thinking approach to behaviour in school and all staff use this system of positive behaviour management which makes a very happy and calm environment to learn and work.
Ravensdale Infant and Nursery School is committed to safeguarding and the welfare of children and expects all staff to share in this.
