As a member of our Software Engineering team you will dive head-first into creating innovative solutions that advance businesses and careers. Role Description & Scope:
The Data Network Architecture platform authors, sources and distributes Facts about Data at JPMC that help the firm improve its data management and data governance capabilities front-to-back. DNA includes features related to Data Lineage, Data Authority, Data Flow, Data Governance Roles, Data Controls, Data Quality Issues and Scores and Data Use.
As part of the DNA team, your mission will be to evolve and develop parts of DNA, particularly relating to reference data and analytics. Collaborating with our network of global technologists will enable you to deliver diverse and inclusive software solutions.
About you
We are looking for someone with an overall industry experience of 5+ in the following fields:
- Degree in computer science / information science (or similarly technical discipline).
- Programming languages, Java, and others, eg: Python, Javascript, XSLT, XQuery, PL/SQL, ...
- Use of XML, JSON, Avro, Protobuff or similar wire formats, and the use of schema languages such as XSD and JSONSchema
- Messaging APIs, such as JMS, Apache QPid, Apache Kafka, ...
- Persistence APIs, such as JDBC, Hibernate, JPA, MarkLogic XCC, ...
- API implementation, perhaps using REST, Swagger, RAML, WSDL, Spring Boot, ...
- Exposure to private or public cloud
- Some exposure to Data Modelling tool(s) such as MagicDraw, ERWin, Power Designer, IDE plugins, ...
- Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment tools and pipelines
