Data, Performance and Stock Analyst - Fixed Term/Secondment
Boots Opticians have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Data, Performance and Stock Analyst.
Reporting to the Supply Manager with a dotted line into our Vendor Manager, the role is responsible for supporting the business with data analysis and interrogation, all reporting requirements across supply chain and customer operations functions, providing insight to demonstrate performance vs. targets and extracting vital information from reports to provide effective insight.
This role can be performed between 30 to 37.5 hours Monday – Friday dependant on candidate preference
ABOUT THE ROLE
- The role sits within the customer operations function which comprises supply chain, contact centre and customer experience teams
- The role will report into the supply manager (supply chain) but have a dotted line into the vendor manager (contact centre and customer experience)
- Working alongside supply leads and customer experience managers the role will own all reporting requirements across both channels
- Interrogation of reporting received across various areas, insight will need to be presented in order to assess performance vs. target and understand forecasts and performance of stock sales
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft packages and in particular excel is essential
- Building dashboards, presentations and reports are key tasks within the role
- Acting as a support to senior managers attending meetings to present performance and insight across both areas (supply and customer)
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO HAVE
- Commercially focused with strong analytical and numerical skills
- Flexible and adaptable with the ability to prioritise and organize own workload
- Ability to manage expectations of key stakeholders
- Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Microsoft skills with advanced knowledge of excel
- Experience in building dashboards to present data
- Experience in data interrogation and presenting insight from this in a simplistic way
- Experience in contact centre reporting and practise (desirable with some understanding will be beneficial)
- Retail knowledge / understanding (not essential)
- Supply Chain knowledge / understanding (not essential)
