Adey are looking for a Early Morning (5.00am start) Sample Receipt Technician to join our team at our Sittingbourne laboratory.
The Sample Receipt Technician will be responsible for allocating the work for the laboratory from information supplied by it clients to the laboratory's information management systems. This will involve ensuring that data is transcribed accurately and any anomalies between samples and documentation are resolved before the samples reach testing.
OVERALL GOALS AND OBJECTIVES:
- The Sample Receipt Technician is responsible for ensuring that all samples received in the laboratory are correctly recorded and accurately allocated testing to specified client requirements within the appropriate time frame through the use of the LIMS system.
- The Sample Receipt Technician will assist in maintaining the laboratory accreditation to ISO 17025.
REQUIRED PROFILE:
A level or equivalent, or have appropriate Laboratory / data entry / scheduling / sample programming experience.
Excellent IT skills with a high level of accuracy along with an eye for detail
To have excellent communication and organisation skills.
To be able to work within set targets and goals, and be able to manage expectations
To be able to work well in a team, with an reliable, open, honest and approachable character
HOURS : 05.00 to 13.30 Tuesday to Saturday
Salary £20140 rising to £21200 following initial probation.
