Job Description
To prepare and serve planned meals to children throughout each nursery day and adhere to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
To follow catering instructions from the chef and nursery staff with regard to children’s dietary requirements. To observe hygiene practices at all times. To be aware of any specific allergies or intolerance's of certain children. To be aware of stock control, use by dates and re-ordering systems. Maintain cross-infection precautions. At the end of each shift, clean kitchen and dining areas to a high standard.
