Job Overview:
This exciting new role is for the position of Functional Safety Engineer within the Arm Quality Group. Functional Safety and Cyber-Security Governance and Assurance team! You will work with a fast-growing and strong team, ensuring the safety of best-in-class products for one of the most extraordinary and successful companies!
With applications in automotive, industrial, medical, aerospace etc. your ideas will make a difference, and you will have the opportunity to ultimately improve how functional safety is integrated into the Arm culture.
Responsibilities:

You will support Arm Functional Safety programs from early development stages up to successful certification assessment.

You will perform confirmation reviews, help the teams to resolve the nonconformities, and continuously excel FuSa processes towards improved efficiency and increased alignment across Arm Software, Hardware, and tools.

You will plan, coordinate and supervise Functional Safety assessments and drive open actions to closure, meeting Arm customer requirements for safety products on time.
Required Skills and Experience:
-
Practical knowledge of one or more functional safety standards such as ISO 26262, IEC 61508, EN 5012X, DO-254, DO-178C, etc.

Ability to produce and review functional safety documentation, providing the teams with opportunities for improvement as well as with relevant training and guidelines.

Strong interpersonal skills to help develop relationships and network with internal customers, champion a safety culture, and be a safety advocate.
“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience:

Experience as an internal auditor and problem-solving RCA/8D.

Excellence in prioritisation and planning of auditing and improvement activities and know-how to inspire change up to resolution.
