Digital is an area of major opportunity for the bank, as we aim to concurrently improve customer experience, reduce the cost to serve and support the commercial model. You’ll work integrally with the onboarding team with both a technical and product / customer focus.
The work you’ll do is a critical part of the product delivery lifecycle, it ensures that the technical teams have an adequate understanding of the requirements and solution, to be able to start development and testing.
You’ll focus your energies on increasing our capacity, to shape demand for new digital features, earlier in the delivery lifecycle (discovery), to remove uncertainties and ensure we are focused with the best balance between value and success.
You’ll play a key role in research, documenting the user stories, functional journeys and detailed customer experience and outcomes.
The difference you’ll make.
- Collaborating with the Product Owner to shape the end-to-end product strategy
- Defining requirements and create user stories, working closely with the developers and designers
- Serving as the day-to-day contact for the team on clarification of requirements
- Exercising strong decision-making mandate across the team as a proxy to the product owner
- Reviewing and analyse proposals from stakeholders
- Identifying opportunities for improvement as well as risks contained within the proposed features and solutions
What you’ll bring.
- Essential to be able to interpret and document requirements as customer journey flows alongside capability in wireframing / mock-ups.
- Strong confident stakeholder management, and comfortable working with business and technical colleagues
It would also be nice for you to have.
- Experience customer centric design, of UX and UI
- Awareness of software delivery lifecycle and digital self-service; Knowledge of Jira / confluence an advantage
- Awareness of how applications and processes integrate, for example APIs and other dependencies.

This role is hybrid, conducted between home and office two days per week.
