Job Description
In this Graduate Analyst role, you will gain experience in data analytics and reporting for the group's various brands. Working between the data lake and data warehouse, you will be putting your SQL & Python skills to the test in order to process data for purpose and insight across the business. You will also be responsible for checking new feeds and connections and gaining exposure to APIs, data files, and AWS.
Key responsibilities – Graduate Data Analyst
In this Graduate Data Analyst opportunity, your responsibilities will include:
- Using SQL & Python, and other ETL and automation tools
- Ensuring data flow between data lake and data warehouse runs smoothly
- Working with internal stakeholders to improve data quality across multiple systems
- Acquire excellent knowledge of Amazon AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) data tools
- Troubleshooting and improving the efficiency of the service
- Design and implement processes to ingest new data feeds
Job requirements – Graduate Data Analyst
- Educated to degree level in a technical discipline, ideally Computer Science or similar
- Sound knowledge of SQL & Python
- Fantastic interpersonal skills, able to work across a variety of teams and projects
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A keen interest in pursuing a career in data analytical and business intelligence
