Technical Service Engineer – Tier 2 - Solar
Salary: £45,000 - £48,000
Location: Cambridgeshire
Job type: Full time
Hybrid split: 4 days in office/1 day WFH
Hours: Mon – Fri (no weekend)

They are looking for a Tier2 Technical Service Engineer to join their team in Poland. If you have a passion for customer service and enjoy assisting customers in diagnosing and resolving technical issues, this role is ideal for you.
Your duties
- Handling of Tier 1 high-priority calls, chats, and emails from customers and contractors
- Conducting on-location and remote analysis and resolution of technical issues related to optimizers, inverters, EV chargers, battery systems, and Smart Energy solutions, as well as intricate communication processes
- Maintaining the technical support knowledge base by incorporating new troubleshooting information
- Documenting, organizing, tracking, and coordinating customer inquiries through support tools and the CRM
- Verifying and approving replacement deliveries in collaboration with relevant departments
- Collaborating closely with Tier 3 Technical Support and Research and Development teams
- Participating in the Buddy System and providing support to Tier 1 colleagues.
Your Qualifications:
- A dedicated and accountable individual with a completed degree in a relevant field or equivalent qualification, with experience in service, customer service, or maintenance being a plus
- A strong interest in photovoltaics is an advantage
- Excellent communication skills, including phone communication and proficiency in email etiquette
- A friendly and confident demeanor while speaking with customers, employees, and partners
- Proficiency in all common Microsoft Office products
