We are looking for highly motivated individuals with strong entrepreneurial energy who are willing to engage in a fast-paced Management Trainee Program to learn the Electrical Distribution industry from the ground up.
Successful candidates will be challenged through the different stages of the business with the goal of Branch Management end in mind.
ABOUT THE COMPANY
This is a privately held electrical distribution company with over 700 locations nationwide. The company manufactures and wholesales electrical systems and equipment to residential, commercial, industrial facilities and factories.
The Business Management Trainee Program
This paid, full-time training program will teach every skill needed for each job in each function of the industry. The structured rotational design of the program will meet all your learning needs and equip you with the necessary skillset to successfully run your own branch of the business.
The Management Trainee is expected to:
- Learn all the aspects of the business from its very core as preparation for promotion to branch manager. (Logistics, Distribution, Supply Chain Management, Inside sales, Outside Sales, Counter Sales, Accounting and Payroll)
- Depending on the current segment of the training, you would work in different settings including warehouse, office, and external environments. During some segments, activities will include lifting, sorting, standing, possible extreme heat/cold conditions. Office segments may include sitting for extended periods. Some segments will include travel – both by car and air.
- Attend training classes in different locations
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
- Current and valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Authorization to work in the United States (without requiring work authorization sponsorship now or in the future)
- Demonstrated ability to communicate in English – verbal and written.
Preferred Qualifications:
- BS or BA Degree in Business Management or similar
- Experience in Sales / Customer Service
- Leadership Experience
- Experience in the distribution industry or similar

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
