Overview:

This is a new, but very important and exciting role for Ridge and you will be key in taking Ridge from its current position to that of a leader and innovator in delivering social value. Delivering social value is an important strand of our Environmental Social Governance, our ED&I and reflects our culture and values and will become embedded in our project delivery and office-based activities.
You will be responsible for demonstrating the impact of our social, environmental, and economic activities.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for delivering the Ridge Annual Social Impact Report.

Ensure Social Value UK’s principles are embedded into our process of data collection, delivery and verification methods of social value outcomes.
- Responsible for preparing monthly/quarterly social value reports for projects and our corporate social value programme, articulating the impact through data insights.

Work with Social Value colleagues and Communications to deliver a quarterly social value newsletter for internal and external stakeholders.

Work with project leads and teams across the business to analyse and review all sources of social value data, presenting trends, issues, and risks, and highlighting opportunities for improvement of stakeholder satisfaction through dashboards and reports.

Responsible for monitoring and developing quality processes for the collection of data and for making improvement recommendations.

Forecast social value impact for Ridge bids.
- Research opportunities and limitations for unlocking social value in the geographical areas where our projects are delivered.

Identify and understand the data that will need to be collected to meet the bid KPIs.

Promote social value data literacy across the company through the delivery of workshops and lunch and learn sessions.
Experience and Skills Required:
To be successful in this role you will need to be passionate about quality driven and quantification methods of evaluating social economic and environmental impact.

Social Return on Investment (SROI) accounting

Excellent communication skills

Must have proven experience working with a Social Value tool.

Experience of Microsoft Office 365 Package and cloud technologies

Advanced Excel skills

Demonstrable experience of working with large-scale complex systems and processes
