Responsibilities:
Job Purpose
Pepsico Europe is operating 400+ warehouses of various size and complexity. The network is managed via both Pepsico inhouse and 3PL partners.
Your role as Europe Warehouse Improvement Lead will focus on defining continuous improvement strategy and coordination of the projects focused on implementation of cutting edge process, technological and technical solutions to improve quality, cost and performance of the existing warehouses across Europe.
Primary accountabilities:
You will lead Europe warehouse continuous improvement agenda for both Pepsico owned and 3PL operations across a diverse set of projects, initiatives, practices and processes including but not limited to:
Warehousing IPS Deep-dives
- E2E accountability for planning, execution and follow-up with the sites:

Define potential candidate warehouses, engage with country (Business Unit) Logistics leadership and site teams to align scope, timing, resources

Lead preparation phase of the exercise (Cost Deployment, VSM, logistical arrangements etc.)

Lead the site visit (in-person or virtual), identify opportunities to implement standards & best practices

Ensure the list of opportunities is aligned with site and BU leadership and transformed into an action plan

Regularly follow-up on action plan execution & measure and communicate results;
Warehousing 3PL Continuous Improvement Program leadership

Overall responsibility for 3PL CI program

Work with GP to identify 3PL partners to be included in the Continuous Improvement (CI) program

Lead the CI program with key 3PL partners with support from GP team

Establish the CI framework with each 3PL partner support GP negotiation on gain sharing principles

Fully lead the execution phase: ensure joint productivity pipeline is built as a result of different exercises (best practice benchmarking, site visits etc.), support 3PL and local BU teams during execution phase, ensure savings realized & reported

Ensure the on-going support of the CI program is transferred to local BU teams after the implementation phase
Business Unit Warehouse Strategy

Co-lead development of BU Warehouse strategy

Assess organizational, technological level of maturity of the warehouses

Development gap closure plans to bring BU warehouses to PepsiCo standard
WH Technology Roadmap Development & Capability building

Overall responsibility for WH technology roadmap

Coordinate BU WH Managers training & development agenda

Support the deployment of standard operational tools/systems that facilitate the implementation & sustainment of Warehouse Management, performance and technical processes.
Qualifications:
At least 8 years of Engineering and/or Warehousing experience preferably in consumer products-
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or other operations related fields

Great Communicator fluent in English with global & business acumen approach

Extensive Warehouse Management experience

Data analysis capability - knowledge of related software would be a plus

Deep understanding of other supply chain areas and its interdependencies, including Transportation, Network Design; Demand Planning, Supply Planning etc

Ability to manage a highly dynamic workload

High degree of independence, autonomy, drive and results orientation

Ability to travel internationally (Europe, up to 50% travel)

Lean six sigma training is a plus

Subject matter expert in warehouse management systems and warehouse operations incluing the wide range of warehouse automation.
