Administrator / Service Recepionist

We need a Customer focussed Receptionist to help drive a busy and growing MOT station, service and diagnostic garage in Airdrie.
As the first point of contact by phone or in person, your Customer Skills will be fully utilised in this fast paced and challenging environment.
Job Tasks can include:
- Raising job sheets and booking jobs into the electronic workshop dairy
- updating workshop job sheets, enter parts used and Labours hours
- Researching, preparing and generating workshop repair quotations
- Order parts in preparation for workshop repair jobs
- Raise purchase orders, enter invoices into the system and book stock in
- Arrange Transport collection and deliveries
- Administration requirements for MOT’s, oil and waste disposal
- Communicate with customers, take orders, provide quotations, raise invoices
- Take customer payments and reconcile banking records.
- All other administration necessary for the successful operation of the business eg;
- Maintaining personnel records, organising training etc
- Organising maintenance of equipment
Skills and Experience required:
An interest in cars and vehicle maintenance would be helpful
Computer Literate: Email, Word, Excel - (MAM Garage management software, a bonus)
Good attention to detail and communication skills, flexible, organised,
conscientious, able to prioritise work and able to work under pressure
This role may be suitable for Job share candidates
Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: £10.00-£12 per hour dependand on experence
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
You will need to have experience of Book Keeping and you should have a current driving license, be computer literate, and have some experience of a customer-facing role. Above all, you should be passionate about helping people.
