Our client, a successful MSP in Lancing, are currently looking for an experienced 1 st /2 nd Line Support Engineer to join their support team. You would be supporting smaller companies with 3 to 80 users and between 1-4 servers.
This position will be based in our client’s Lancing office and you’ll regularly be required to visit nearby clients to provide support. As you’ll be dealing with end users in person and on the phone, excellent communication skills are vital.
You will be primarily installing desktops & laptops (Windows 8-10 Pro), as well as various IT equipment, resolving support tickets and providing Windows Server and Microsoft Exchange support.
- Previous experience providing 1st and 2nd line technical support, as part of a Service Desk.
- Experience supporting a Microsoft suite, including O365 and Microsoft Exchange.
- Driving license is essential.
- Must be within 60 mins commute of Lancing.
- Experience with Sage, Trend or Bit Defender security products would be desirable.
- Experience installing hardware and software
- Good recording and accuracy in ticket
- A meticulous, self-motivated and well-organised candidate
- Previous experience supporting SMEs will be hugely beneficial
- Previous MSP experience desirable
