Business management, administration and support
Your role
We are looking for a Business Manager to work and support the Jersey Country Head and the Jersey Operating Head (COO/COS with a dual functional reporting line to both), your responsibilities will be wide, ranging from high level, long-term strategic planning to tactical troubleshooting
You will
- collaborate with multiple business divisions, group functions, and UBS legal entities to support implementation of the UBS Jersey Branch strategy
- drive high profile business change activities from conception to implementation
- manage strategic planning activities throughout the project lifecycle, this will involve formulating and analysing concepts, and preparing and presenting proposals to various stakeholder and management Boards
- ensure adherence to the UBS data governance framework including regional vendor management
- support the Jersey Country Head in various Jersey branch activities to drive overall strategy and identify business opportunities: internal and external communications, community affairs, corporate governance and CSR initiatives
- act as liaison between WM Jersey and the UK Business Management and Marketing

Your expertise
You have:
- a university degree (bachelor / master) in Business Administration, Finance or similar
- experience in risk management topics
- experience in business management or strategy consulting
- strong communication skills both orally and in writing
- the ability to work closely with experienced professionals
- a strong analytical mindset and the ability to deal with complex situations
- a structured approach to problem solving
- the ability to use IT applications efficiently
You are:
- proactive with strong attention to detail
- able to deal with multiple tasks providing excellent follow-up
- an excellent communicator, with persuasive presentation skills
- well organized, with an innate sense of how to prioritize
- result-orientated with a strong focus on getting things done
- capable of working under pressure and coping with difficult and changing scenarios
- a fast learner, comfortable with adapting to unfamiliar situations quickly. You like to works autonomously and are happy to work with limited direction at times
