Injection moulding operator- shift work- (Role would be Days or Nights)

We have recently expanded our growing business as we have doubled our production capabilities; with further growth in the future, we are looking to recruit an injection moulding operator to join our existing team.
Essential Skills and Responsibilities
- Basic understanding of English & Maths
- Computer literate
- Physically Fit for the job
- Good Communication Skills
- Ability to complete work correctly and on time in an acceptable format and have attention to detail
- Hardworking and trustworthy
- Understanding of plastic injection moulding techniques and have worked within this sector previously with experience
- Carry out tool changes, material and colour changes
- Condition setting of machines
- Ensure all robotics and ancillary equipment are in operation
- Maintaining a safe, neat and tidy work area
- Recommend modifications/ improvements to increase productivity, improve quality and/or reduce waste
- Liaise with Production Team Leader for production priorities
- Inspect product ensuring it is of high quality
- Working on Shifts -
- Complete product quality check
- Also able to do basic roles as per the below :
- Stack product onto pallet
- Label and wrap pallet
- Use pump truck/ forklift to transport pallet to holding area
- Keep workstation clean and tidy at all times
- Be in charge of the production operatives as you would be the shift supervisor
Experience
- Minimum requirement of 2 years within plastic injection moulding is required as you need to have a basic understanding of the machines.
- Full fork-lift licence is desirable

PLEASE NOTE - Salary would be discussed at an interview stage and would be primarily based on experience.
