We are looking for fun, outgoing and confident individuals who love the world of Entertainment to join our crew of Entertainment Hosts onboard P&O Cruises.
In March 2023 we will be hosting a series of casting days across the UK including Edinburgh, Newcastle, Manchester, Birmingham and London. Dates and details will be released upon successful application.
What is an Entertainment Host and why should you apply?
As an Entertainment Host you would be responsible for delivering a diverse range of entertainment and leisure opportunities, during both the day and evening for our passengers, where the emphasis is always to enhance their cruise experience. This includes quizzes, bingo, cabaret, musical programmes, karaoke, sporting events and deck activities.

What's a typical day for an Entertainment Host onboard?
- Life on board involves working 10 hours a day, 7 days a week for the 4 - 6 months that you are onboard.
- Your ten hours will be split between morning, afternoon and evening activities.
- You might choose to start the day in our Crew exclusive Gym before getting your breakfast
- You will then check in with your team and discuss the days activities and be sent to host an on deck activity
- After stopping for lunch which if its a Port day might be in one of our worldwide destinations
- You could be hosting evening entertainment programme for up to 1000 people
- Finally you might finish your shift with a drink in the Crew Bar with some of your colleagues before enjoying bedding down in your clean and fully serviced cabin.
It is a requirement of employment that all of our seafarers must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 from the 1st December 2021 (either 2 vaccines plus 14 days or 1 single dose vaccine plus 14 days). As part of the application form, you will be asked if you are fully vaccinated. We are unable to progress any applications from individuals who are not fully vaccinated at this time and welcome future applications should your vaccination status change.
