Why would I want to be a Paid Media Manager at Auctane?

We're looking for an exceptionally organized Paid Media Manager to help the marketing team scale paid media campaigns across multiple brands. This person will be responsible for creating high-performing PPC, display, remarketing and paid social campaigns that grow awareness, increase conversions and optimize ad spend.

You will have managed paid media campaigns for multiple products/brands and are motivated by growing performance over time.

What would I be doing?


  • Allocating, investing and optimizing media budget to meet performance and brand-building goals.
  • Managing the relationship with our agencies, working to grow sign-ups efficiently while also preserving market share
  • Managing our PPC display, affiliate and paid social advertising programs, collaborate with our content and creative teams to test, learn, and optimize
  • Working closely with our SEO team, leveraging data intelligence across organic search and paid to inform decision making.
  • Supporting our partner marketing events and content team efforts through paid media
  • Implementing paid media programs for newly launched countries in EMEA
  • Utilizing data-driven methodology, analysis, and measurement to improve effectiveness and efficiency across all marketing channels
  • Tracking and reporting on paid media performance against agreed OKRs on a monthly and quarterly basis
  • Working closely with analytics and business operations, our agencies and intelligence partners to build a world-class performance marketing engine across tracking, attribution, automation, and optimization
  • Share best practice and success measures across the team and global organization to scale and maximize efficiency.
  • Involvement in website initiatives to improve UX and conversion rates to maximize the on-page engagement metrics from our paid campaigns

Performance & Success Measures

  • Increased marketing ROAS by program / by channel
  • Reduced / Optimized CPAs/CPC
  • Increased website conversion (lead gen/CRO)
  • Improved brand health metrics (e.g. awareness, consideration)

Who are you?

  • 5+ years of work experience as a marketing professional
  • 3-5 years experience working on paid media
  • University degree educated, preferably in marketing, business, or related field
  • A history of owning and managing large advertising budgets across one or many brands
  • Experience working with a variety of different departments and the ability to build business relationships
  • Experience with the following platforms: Facebook, LinkedIn, Rollworks
  • Experience with various marketing tools (Asana, Hubspot, Marketo, Looker, Google Suite, Jira, etc.)
  • Time Management: You will be working with multiple employees and often spinning multiple plates at once
  • Exceptional communication skills — including written, interpersonal, and public speaking
  • Ability to meet multiple concurrent deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Be a self-starter: high level of initiative and follow-through
  • Ability to be creative, with a proactive approach to fresh ideas and offering a unique perspective
  • Be a team player!

Skills required:

  • Data driven, analytical approach to acquisition metrics, measurement, and campaign performance
  • An exceptional ability to manage tasks and deadlines with autonomy.
  • Proven ability to work with individuals at all levels, across the organization, to get the job done
  • An ability to "see the big picture" and develop an understanding of how small tasks contribute to large outcomes
