Our client is a fast-growing outsourcer that specialise in the delivery of essential public services across defence, transport, justice, immigration, health care and other citizen services. They operate across four regions: UK & Europe, North America, Asia Pacific, and Middle East. We are looking for a Insight Analyst to join their Procurement Reporting and Analytics team. The team are responsible for the delivery of data analysis, analytics, and reporting across corporate functions. Using corporate BI platforms (SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI and SAP Business Warehouse), they develop reporting and analytics to help inform strategic decision making.

The role will work through the end-to-end cycle of requirements gathering, report development, to analysing and interpreting the reports to highlight insights for the Procurement team.
The role will be hybrid working 2 days in the Solihull office
Key responsibilities
- Maintain regular communication with key exec level stakeholders in area of expertise providing regular business commentary and building strong relationships..
- Support the design, build and reporting of reporting and analytics to gain visibility of key management information and insights.
- Design, deliver and review a suite of accurate reports in collaboration with all interested stakeholders on a daily, weekly monthly and ad-hoc basis.
- Create analytical products tailored for key audiences such as executives and managing directors
- Undertake the development of descriptive/diagnostic analytics solutions, such as self-service dashboards, to enable customers from the procurement domain to gain visibility of key management information and insights
- Able to simply communicate complex issues, processes, and data to a non-technical audience.
- Identify and act on opportunities to streamline the existing reporting delivery and the methods of delivering reports and dashboards.
About you
- You would be an initiative-taking individual who has plenty of personal drive, has a professional approach to their work and is able to self-manage their workload
- Good working knowledge of Procurement functions
- Statistical orientation with expertise in EDA.
- Experience working with Power BI (essential)
- Support the development of the corporate Business Warehouse environments, working closely with teams in Procurement to identify and highlight data quality or integrity issues, and recommend new improvements to enhance reporting.
- Ability to quickly understand new areas of business and technology enabling impactful and effective conversations with the stakeholders.
- Analytical ability and can own deliverables
- Able to simply communicate complex issues, processes, and data to a non-technical audience.
- Strong data visualisation and presentation skills.
- Data manipulation skills, including ability to extract, transform, and analyse multiple large data sets.
- High customer focus with commercial awareness and a drive to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Advantageous to have some competence in analytical languages such as Python, R, SQL, or DAX
