Longridge Towers School is seeking to recruit a dynamic and enthusiastic House Parent who will report to the Head of Boarding, to help in developing a Boarding House that both pupils and staff are proud to be part of. The boarding team at Longridge ensures every pupil is well cared for and valued and that the Boarding House provides a safe and caring environment for pupils to grow and develop.
A House Parent must create a home-from-home environment that fosters respect, understanding and inclusiveness within a culturally diverse environment. If you are committed to providing a first-class pastoral care service that not only ensures pupils’ physical and emotional well-being, but also enables them to feel motivated and empowered to seize every opportunity, then this is a fantastic opportunity for you to join us at Longridge Towers School.
Single accommodation on girls’ boarding is provided for this role which the successful candidate is required to sleep in whilst on duty. Therefore, a female is required to fill this vacancy. The salary will be in the region of £22,300 and £23,600, depending on the agreed hours. Working weeks are predominately term-time plus additional days prior to the start and end of term when required.
The School is situated in beautiful grounds, three miles from the picturesque town of Berwick-upon-Tweed in North Northumberland. Staff work as a team, whether directly teaching or supporting pupils as part of the School and pastoral teams, or as part of our estates team making the site work as it should to create a safe learning and living environment in which every pupil can thrive.
Closing Date: Midday on Tuesday 28th February 2023
Interviews: To be held week commencing 6th March 2023
